About the owner

Chad Cornwall, the owner and creative director behind Flower Power Productions, is a native Houstonian with deep roots in an appreciation for flowers. Some of his earliest childhood memories include gathering bouquets in the outfield of little league baseball games or wishing on dandelions on the walk home from school. Growing up he always knew creating with his hands for a living in an atmosphere unrestrained by a corporate infrastructure was the chosen path of happiness. After college, Chad chased a pursuit in the events profession and quickly landed in the exciting world of floral design. Today, he travels across Texas and beyond to create one of a kind tablescapes and garden inspired flowers for clients from every walk of life.

Formally trained with a double accreditation in floral design, Chad combines his knowledge of color and texture with his passion for nature by creating floral designs for weddings and events that mimic the way in which flowers and foliage connect in the wild. By approaching flowers with the intended goal to inspire curiosity in others, Chad is able to capture truly unique designs for every event.    

When not flowering the city, you can find him eating his way through Houston’s diverse restaurant scene, scouring local vintage shops for the perfect find or binge watching the latest obsession.

Flower Power Productions is a full-service, boutique floral design firm specializing in weddings and events in Houston, Texas and anywhere beauty takes us.

Established in 2013, the foundation of our mission was built on the ideals of the counterculture protest movement of the 60s and 70s, exploring the ways we can push back against societal norms and bring peace to a sometimes chaotic world through our medium of artistic creation.  We believe that the symbolic beauty of a single stem has the power to awaken hearts and inspire change.
